As the director of Outside the Lab, Andy holds the responsibility of connecting the clients' creative vision with the practical design potential of the creative team. Having worked extensively as programmer, animator and web developer, he has a breadth of experience that enables him to traverse the many fields of graphical media with a vital amount of familiarity. Andy has 15 years of experience with digital media and received his formal education in Digital Arts and Animation at George Mason University, where he and friends created this company to be a privately-held version of the Mason Media Lab. Andy is quite fond of science.

Helon Lee

Helon Lee / Designer

The graphic designer is a crucial part of the team. Every project with an element of design goes through Helon. From web interface and user experience design to multi-page print publications, Helon approaches design with an intensely cerebral and analytical sense from which he believes design itself can bring clarity and relevancy to all aspects of communication. As a designer for print and web, he holds a deep enthusiasm for typography and color and the ability of the final product to transcend its medium. Helon harbors deep feelings for fresh vegetables.
